  1. Hey Sri!
I really enjoyed your presentation. I found it to be one of the most engaging presentations that we have had so far. I actually really enjoyed the activity that you had presented us with, mostly because it was just the most memorable for me. I found it very engaging, making it one of the more impactful activities that had been done. I actually had a question though, pertaining to this activity. Eijii had gone on to a quest to find his lost father, would you say that this aligns more closely with the hero’s journey or the “W curve of culture shock.”
Secondly, I feel like with the ending of the book being blank, could there be a double meaning there? I felt as if that though it could have represented Eijii’s yet unwritten future, I feel like it could have just as easily have been a device that is used to quite literally depict the despair, sorrow, and blankness he feels after undergoing this long and hard journey. Could this book been about how the journey that one needs to go through to grow and “come of age” is the same journey that breaks them? I would like to hear back so please write back!!
    Thanks,
    Manny
